Knee Arthroscopy
Knee arthroscopy is a surgical technique of orthopedic surgery in which examination and treatment of the interior of the knee joint are performed with an arthroscope. In this process, a small fiber-optic camera also referred to as an arthroscope is used and the incisions are very small to enable visualization inside the knee joint. This enables the surgeon to not only see the cartilage, ligaments and other tissues inside the knee but also to reach them easily. Besides for diagnosing and examining a joint, arthroscopy can be applied for a number of corrective operations, for instance, to suture torn ligaments, to take out the damaged cartilage, or to wash out the joint. This method, otherwise, is considered less painful and the recovery time is comparatively shorter than the open surgeries.

Who needs Knee Arthroscopy?
- Chronic Knee Pain:
